[TuT] How 2 Rangeban on Teamspeak

Hi GHB.

 

Some ppl asked me in the last Days, how they can ban an IP range on Teamspeak.

 

Here i want to Explain u how.

 

Let's begin!

 

1. Step:

Be sure that u are ServerAdmin on the Teamspeak.

 

2. Step: Our valuable IP is: 12.34.567.890

Go to: Info -> Show IP Bans. There u can see ALL the ppl, who get banned from the Server and their IP.

When u want to ban an IP u must click into the white Box and type: 12.34.567.890

Than the Guy is IP Banned, BUT he can CHANGE his IP and come back!

 

So we need to ban is "range" IP. Remember, the IP was 12.34.567.890

Again, go to Info -> Show IP Bans. But now type in: 12.34.*.*

The little stars are valuable, they can be EVERY number, from 0 to 100000000000000000000000000 .

Its VERY important, that u type JUST 12.34.*.* and NOT another number!

 

3. Step:

Now the Guy is range banned and he can't join ur Teamspeak, but he can use a Proxy and u ban him again

you only need the 2 first numbers^^

12.34.*.* cause when u only ban the first number a other with 12 cant join the ts too^^

and he cant change his 2 first numbers^^

I can change my first numbers to without proxy. I have from my provider 2 ips

n1 but my friend have the IP: 84.73.36.126 and I have 84.73.188.231

so if i add 84.73.*.* i ban me too ^^
