den style finde ich eig. schon gut aber ich finde man müsste noch was einbauen also net nur des schwarze da .. deswegen habe ich ma no gevotet weil geht so gibts ja net

 

die base finde ich sehr gut .. da gibts nix zu bemängeln von meiner Seite aus ..=)

Style ist ganz ok, jedoch währe ein komplett eigener GHB skin doch viel schöner.

Zur Software, Vbulletin ist meiner meinung nach die beste, da ich selber mit Vbulletin gearbeitet habe in nen Forum.

I would prefer the old forumsoftware ipb 2.3.6 and the current skin.

there is no way ... most parts of the db changed, what you can do is manually changing the db and then reinstall ipb 2.3.6 to another folder using the changed db. but it's much work..

Yep, it sucks, did you ever see a vB forum? Did you ever see the styles offered? It either takes ages until the forum looks good or it costs hella' money, a good style goes with 1k$+, and all these public cheap styles are ugly.

 

IP.B looks more elegant and is easier to use, IP.B is afaik more secure, I've seen about 4 0-days for vB in the last couple weeks, none for IP.B, not even for older versions(2.3+).

I'd say stay with IP.B, there aren't many forums that look good with vB, gsys looks messy, dxt looks messy, a few forums I wont mention here look awesome, but these styles cost them 1k$-2.5k$.

skin kann man public nehmen oder einen kaufen, zumindest einen billigeren, und ihn umändern von farben oder was auch immer kann man selber machen, biggy hat ein ganzes forum selbstgeschrieben und desigend, der macht das schon

 

ipb ist sicherer als vBulletin? haha der war gut, für ipb 2.3 gibt es und wird es keine updates mehr geben, ( es gibt zur zeit einen bug in ipb 2.3 der es erlaubt sich in accounts einzuloggen ohne daten zu kennen, ist noch nicht public aber es gibt hier jmd der weis wie es geht ( zum glück ein "freund" ) doch leider kann man ihn nicht einfach fixxen, also ist für mich gesehen ein downgrade auf ipb 2.3 einfach schwachsinnig

 

-- ich frag mich nur warum die meisten seiten die ich kenne, vB nutzen wenn die forum software ja so unsicher ist bzw es nur beschissene skins etc. gibt?

 

war schon lange kein admin/mod mehr auf einer vB seite, ich weis noch das das acp nicht gerade der hit war, aber was ist wichtiger, ein super tooles acp / moderator pannel oder die member? ich würde eher sagen das zweite oder? : P

vB AAAAAABER version 3.x, da 4.x ziemlich hängt (also jede Seite, die ich kenne ist mit vb 3.x ist schneller als mit 4.x -> siehe gordonsys) und 3.x einfach enormst geil und vb 4.x enormst fail ist.

 

würde atm ipb2 bevorzugen (oldskool, ja ), aber wahrscheinlich eh unwahrscheinlich...
