The consequences of "over-clocking" your computer could and more than likely will cause catastrophic damage to itself and perhaps the user. Computers pushed beyond it's computing capabilities have had recorded events in time in which they caught fire, exploded, caused severe burns, as well as some other catastrophic damages to the users,itself, and environment. There is a reason for your computer running at the speed at which it is currently running, That reason being its capabilities are limited. A machine is much like a friendsapian; Despite their functionality, purpose, and moral values, yes they both can be compared in the sense of being pushed passed the limits.

Machine: Hp G56 laptop.

 

Assume this example is a sequence in life that is corresponded to actually happening; As well as, religious beliefs being true without controversy.

 

example:

Lets say Bob is running on a track almost out of breath and about to stop. Now, Lets say God (or some mystical force with the ability) decides to make the kid keep running full speed. Now we have a kin of a mother who is out of breath, with asthma, still running full speed with no control to slow down, but has every desire to stop running. Eventually, bobs heart would explode or he would collapse and die from a severe asthma attack.

 

 

Final thought:

Your machine runs the way it does for a reason, not to aggravate the user. If you continue to press it minor damages causing bigger damages later are likely to happen. Considering you don't have to money to purchase upgrades for your computer, how can you risk this?
