    1. Nice, will this work for CA ? Or is it diffrent folder

      probably bit late reply sorry;)

well i dont have much experience with CA, although

it is possible to mod the files there too.

      yes its a different folder.

    2. Here is a tutorial on how to create a mod for WarRock

First you need a picture edit program like Adobe Photoshop or anything that can save the picture in a DirectDraw Surface (DDS-File)

i am using Paint.NET, you can download it by googling it.

      Tutorial:

First, go to your C: drive and locate the folder "nexon"

then continue all the way till you get to the "texture" folder inside the warrock folder

after that find the "Sprite" folder

      start3s.jpg

here you see lots of files you can make into your own mods

      start4.jpg

here is the file "exp_gen_d" this is the explosion file.

here is the file opened in the program Paint.NET

      previewvn.jpg

this file is from a lightning mod i made earlier, you can make the explosion to be anything if you know what you want it to be. xD

and when you are about to save the edited file you have to overwrite the file you edited with the one you added, so i recommend you to make a backup of all these files in case you lose one. thats it.

      Update:

As you see in this tutorial i was only changing one file, the one named "exp_gen_d", note in this case there is more explosion files that needs to be changed, there should be other files named exp_gen_a, exp_gen_b etc.

in order to have the explosion complete you need to edit all the files the exp_gen, what you can do is creating one file then save it, then duplicate it and then change the names of the duplications and replace it with the current exp_gen files.

Here is a video of floppiiii demonstrating his lightning explosion mod, this video inspired me to make my own version of it:

I would say that this is the first (original) lightning mod for warrock that was made years ago, i would say my lightning mod is more modern and larger than what you see in the video.

although this is just the explosion files, here is some more files you'd probably want to take a look at

All files i have modified for my current modpacks:

      Muzzlefire:

      muzzleflash_s_d.dds

      muzzleflash_s_c.dds

      muzzleflash_s_b.dds

      muzzleflash_s_a.dds

      muzzleflash_ppsh_c.dds

      muzzleflash_ppsh_b.dds

      muzzleflash_ppsh_a.dds

      muzzleflash_fmg42.dds

      muzzleflash_f_d.dds

      muzzleflash_f_c.dds

      muzzleflash_f_b.dds

      muzzleflash_f_a.dds

      Vehicle Explosion

      fire_ring_org_a.dds

      fire_ball_c.dds

      fire_ball_b.dds

      fire_ball_a_blend.dds

      fire_ball_a.dds

      fire_b3.dds

      expAni.dds

      Explosion Files

      exp_gen_f.dds

      exp_gen_e.dds

      exp_gen_d.dds

      exp_gen_c.dds

      exp_gen_b.dds

      exp_gen_a.dds

      Metal Impact

      dirtplume_modelf.dds

If you're confused by this but want to give it a shot,

make sure you make a backup of your files, otherwise you might end up

reinstalling your warrock game. Good luck!
