d3d8.h No Such file or dirictory! [TuT]

Hello Every1 !

 

I have heard that a lots of people that try's to make D3D Hacks Have proplems

With this error:

 

"d3d8.h no such file or directory"

 

 

IF YOU HAVE THAT ERROR THIS IS HOW TO FIX IT!!

 

You need to Download DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004)

http://www.microsoft.com/downloadS/details...;displaylang=en

 

or just google it...

 

Then we have to install it to your c++

 

1) Microsoft Visual c++ Express edition

 

Go to Tools/ options/ project and solutions/vc++ Directoris

 

Go and scroll down where it says excutebal files...click include files.

Then add DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004) Include (Folder)

Then do the same in the library files.

 

It shoud look like this

 

DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004) lib

DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004) include

 

 

2) C++ 6.0

 

Go to Tools/ options / Directories /then click "include files"

Add the DirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004) include (Folder)

 

Then Click "library files" and add theDirectX 9.0 SDK Update - (Summer 2004) lib (Folder)

 

Thats it !

One thing that is inportant when you include the files is that you dont include the hole file folder only the " lib" and the "include"!
