Im new to this site, but not so new to the game hacking community. Ive done some C++ Work with DX8 before but not 9.

Ive decided to take it up as a hobby again. Im having problems getting anything to compile using the new VC++ 2005,2008 edition and the original VC++ wont even run in Windows 7.

Everytime i try to compile it throws back errors, even when using Dev c++ and just wont compile.

Anybody get the original C++ to work on windows 7?

    Thanks.

    Yep,

I got win7 32bit and I use "Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition" & "Microsoft Visual Basics 2008 Express Edition", both are running without any Problems O.o

    Do you got 64bit ?

    possible solutions:

    - Try to Start C++/VB as Admin ...

    - Try to Start C++/VB with compatibility mode ...

    - Use the special WinXP mode that exist on win7

    > Don't got the right Version ? ... no problem : download "Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition"-Trial and i will pm how to get it working "longer than 30days"
